About Ryker
Ryker is a 45-pound Husky/Shepherd mix with striking blue eyes. He knows sit and shake a paw, walks well on a leash, and is smart and loyal. Ryker is protective of his people and gets along with other dogs at the rescue; he was returned from a previous home because he was protective around strangers. He does best in a household with a confident, experienced owner (ideally someone familiar with shepherds), and he is suitable for families with children 8 and older. Ryker is vaccinated, neutered, healthy, and thrives in cooler climates; he would be an excellent outdoor companion for an active person.
