A meet-and-greet checklist
A starting point — adapt it to what feels right for you.
- Meet in a public place first, like a park or a busy sidewalk.
- Bring your dog so everyone can see how they get along.
- Talk through routines, feeding, medication, and house rules.
- Share emergency and vet contacts before any exchange.
- Trust your judgment — only proceed if you feel comfortable.
What Pawsada does — and doesn’t — do
Pawsada is a membership platform that helps dog owners connect. Pawsada does not provide pet care, employ caregivers, supervise exchanges, inspect homes, or guarantee outcomes. Members are solely responsible for evaluating suitability, arranging care, and assuming all risks associated with any interaction or exchange.
We don’t use terms like “trusted sitters,” “vetted caregivers,” or “guaranteed safe care” because that’s not what Pawsada is. We’re a community and a set of tools. You bring the judgment.
