I was shy at first, but with patience and walks, I've learned I'm actually quite capable—and I'd love to show you just how far I've come.

About Bolton
Bolton is a 9-year-old hound mix weighing approximately 64 pounds who came to the rescue from animal control and has made a remarkable recovery with proper care and training. This playful and gentle boy has completed an immersive training program and now knows sit, stay, down, come, drop it, leave it, and place commands; he also has good leash manners, proper door etiquette, and reliable potty habits. Bolton is friendly with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, but cats are not a good fit for his home. He does well with children around 8 years and older and would thrive with an active family—he loves long walks, toys, day trips, and outdoor play, though he should be secured safely in the car with a chain leash and harness rather than a standard leash. Medically, Bolton is current on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered; he eats prescription Hill's Science Diet w/d with a probiotic for his sensitive stomach, takes Apoquel for allergies, and has mild to moderate tartar on his teeth that may benefit from a future veterinary cleaning.
