Stella is a 1.5–2 year old Beagle Heeler mix weighing 22–30 pounds. She is an active, energetic companion who loves to run, play fetch, and chase, and would do well with another dog friend and an active family. Stella knows come, sit, down, stay, place, focus, and off through formal positive training, is treat motivated and highly intelligent, and thrives on mental and physical work. She is affectionate, loves people, and is fine with cats, though she may chase them if they run; she needs continued work on loose leash walking and is still learning house training. Stella will communicate when she needs potty breaks and craves snuggles and belly rubs with her person.
