Oh — hi! Turtle here.

I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and a few zoomies) saved up for the right person.

I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Turtle 🐾

The rescue’s notes on Turtle

Turtle is a sweet, brindle female rescued from a hoarding case with almost 20 other dogs. She was underweight, but is eating well and gaining weight rapidly. She is settling in to her new foster home and is very vocal. She talks when she is happy, she talks when she wants something, and she talks when she wants out of her crate. She is doing well with crate and potty training and gets along well with the resident dogs (and cats) in the foster home. She is learning to walk on a leash, has a good grasp on sit, and has no interest in stay. :-) (We are working on that.) She is current on vaccines, is heartworm negative, and has been dewormed. We will have her scheduled for spay surgery soon and will update after surgery is completed.
