About Skeeter
Skeeter is a 7-year-old Beagle terrier mix who is affectionate, eager to please, and energetic, though he's equally content being a couch potato. He was found as a puppy and has lived with his brother Blue; Skeeter is happy in his brother's company and thrives with attention from people. Skeeter sometimes needs extra time to learn new things but watches and learns from his brother. He and Blue will need patience and time to readjust to home life, as they haven't been socialized in three years, and both have strong prey drive instincts—they've shown too much excitement around pet rats and small animals. Skeeter would do best in a home without cats, young children, or other small animals, and ideally with a patient person or family committed to helping him build confidence and trust.
