Morning, friend! Russell here.
I'm basically a furry tornado of joy who thinks every moment with you will be the best moment of my entire life, and honestly, I might be right about that.
My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.
I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.
I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.
I'm a Burlingame local, just waiting on the right person.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
Who knows — by Halloween I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.
Thanks for stopping by and giving me a moment — it honestly made my whole day. — Russell

About Russell
Good afternoon, my name is Russell and I'm a Wilderness Explorer. Are you in need of a new buddy today? I'm a 1-year-old, Bull Terrier mix and I weigh around 62 pounds. I'm a happy go lucky, energetic, and playful guy. My friends here at PHS say that I'm super affectionate when cuddling and a full body player with equal parts goofball energy. If you are looking for a happy go lucky dude that loves nothing more than running, playing with soft toys and frolicking in the kiddie pool here at the shelter then look no further! I'm a total sweetheart; I just have to get my wiggles out first! If you are looking for puppy kisses and wiggly tails, I can deliver! Russell ID# A0978323 I recently went on a sleepover! Here's how I did: Russell was such a good boy during his sleepover with us! On the drive home, he jumped into the car after some encouragement, though he was a bit adorably clumsy. He seemed nervous at first but was being a brave boy. On our way back the next day, he did great in the car! He was able to relax more and even laid down! In the house the first day/afternoon, he was a little restless. He wanted to be close to us the entire time and had a bit of a hard time settling in at first but he played well with some chew toys. The day after he was so much more relaxed and seemed more at ease! He's not quite potty trained yet but didn't have any accidents while he was with us! We took him out pretty often and tried to read his body language to see if he had to go. At night, he slept a couple of hours in his crate, as well as a couple of hours in bed with us. He wants to be close to people at all times. When he went in his crate, he'd rather be with us, but didn't whine or try to get out. He would relax after a couple of minutes and take a nap. Overall, Russell was a sweet, affectionate and goofy house guest!
