About Max
Max is an almost 9-month-old Australian Shepherd mix who was rescued from a suspected animal abuse case and has made a remarkable recovery. Though he's cautious around loud noises, he's a well-adjusted, easygoing puppy who is fully housetrained, walks nicely on leash, and has excellent recall. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is affectionate with his people, enjoying both playtime and quiet time curled up beside his family. Max would thrive in a home with children, other friendly dogs, or as a single companion—he has the rare ability to be both a playful friend and a calm, relaxed housmate.
