Evening, friend! Mabel here.

I'm the girl who'll love you completely, walk beside you perfectly, and promise you're never getting rid of me—so bring your A-game, because I'm absolutely worth it.

Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.

I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.

I do come with a few special needs, but please don't let that scare you off — I just need a patient friend, and I pay it back tenfold.

I've been holding down the fort in Ashville, hoping someone like you would wander by.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

With a little luck, Labor Day could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.

Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Mabel

About Mabel

Meet Mabel. Mabel is a young girl who is a Labrador mix. She is a very affectionate girl who gets attached to her person quite easily. Mabel is currently in the DASH prison program where she is working on becoming the best girl for her future family. She is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and working on learning basic manners. Mabel is currently working on her separation anxiety as she is very attached to her person and will bark in crate until they return. Loud noises also makes her anxious and is also working on this at her current placement. She enjoys playing with toys, loves to get all the attention she can get and paying with other dogs. Due to her current placement she has not been introduced to cats or to children of any age so proper introductions are needed for both. If you think you have room in your family for Mabel then apply today!
