Boris is a smart, goofy, and energetic young German Wirehaired Pointer who thrives with an active, patient owner who understands his need for structure and space. He is leash and crate trained, does well in the car, and knows a wide range of commands including sit, stay, place, heel, and come, showing just how intelligent and capable he is. Boris loves staying busy with puzzle toys, kongs, tug, chase, and outdoor adventures like hiking, and he'll happily entertain himself with a good chew or even a cardboard box. While he does well with other dogs, he can be reactive on leash and needs slow, respectful introductions with new people, as he prefers to approach on his own terms. Boris is most comfortable with women and would do best in an adult home without young children, where his boundaries are respected. He can experience some separation anxiety but manages it without being destructive. With the right home that offers consistency, activity, and understanding, Boris will be a loyal, fun, and devoted companion.
