Hello, my name is Jett! I am an approximately 18 month old male Lab and Pit Bull mix weighing around 49 pounds who is looking for a loving forever home. I was found off Holden Drive in Rockwall alongside two other dogs believed to be my siblings and was never reclaimed. I am a shy but very sweet natured boy who is still learning to feel confident in new environments. While I may be reserved when meeting new people, I warm up with patience, kindness, and consistency. Once I feel comfortable, my affectionate personality begins to shine and I enjoy spending quiet time cuddling with my people. I walk well on a leash and would do best with a family that understands that building confidence takes time. A calm, supportive home that can provide encouragement and routine will help me continue to grow into the wonderful companion I am meant to be. I have done well with female dogs but, due to my dominant nature, I am not recommended for homes with male dogs. If you currently have another dog, a meet and greet is recommended to ensure we are a good match. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination and annual boosters, and I have tested heartworm positive.
