I'm basically a brindle disco ball with a work ethic—I walk great, I'm weirdly chill, and I'll follow you anywhere, including boring errands.

Apparently I'm a quick study — my notes mention I already know a trick or two.

I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.

I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.

I've been holding down the fort in Carrollton, hoping someone like you would wander by.

But he's more than just handsome … Jay has a happy-go-lucky spirit that shines just as brightly. He is joyful, easygoing, and clearly loves being by your side. He also walks nicely on a leash and loves getting out to explore the world with you. In the park, Jay is in his element - following interesting scents, taking in all the sights, and happily greeting nearby dogs with friendly curiosity. He's the perfect mix of fun and companionship. Jay is ready to share his bright spirit and loyal heart with a forever family. So come meet this beautiful boy and see just how special he is. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
