I'm a goofy pit bull who goes absolutely bonkers with excitement, but I settle right down once I'm out exploring the world with you—I just need someone patient with my ears and ready for all my love.

My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.

I'm a seasoned soul, which is a fancy way of saying I've perfected the art of the afternoon nap and the grateful sigh.

I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.

I've been holding down the fort in San Jose, hoping someone like you would wander by.

07/09/26 14:45Needs rescue URGENTLY due to displaying FAS ranging from 2-3 in kennel consistently, showing as loud and frustrated barking in kennel whenever entering or nearing the room he resides in. Justin would greatly benefit from rescue placement or adoption!06/17/26 15:59 Justin's wounds from intake date healed beautifully! However, he has chronic mild to moderate ear infections that have not healed with 2 doses of simplera/claro ear medication. Changing rescue status to URGENT to a rescue capable of providing care for his ears, including routine cleanings, veterinary monitoring and other treatments as indicated.08/13/26 16:44What I did today:Today I met two friends and took a long walk at the park! I was sooo happy to get to go out, but once Iwalked out of the shelter, I calmed down quickly and I rode perfectly in the car! All morning, I walked so nicely next to my friends, gave lots of snuggles and relaxed. This did not stop him from being the gentle soul that he is. Justin loves to go for walks and is great on leash. He does not have a lot of interest in toys but he will sit for a treat. In fact, Justin knows sit, down, and paw! Justin's injuries do appear to be consistent with bite wounds but this sweet boy does not let this get him down. He has shown no reactivity while here at the shelter and has even greeted other dogs nicely through the fence in the yard. Sweet boy Justin is waiting patiently for someone to come in and meet him.
