He arrived at the shelter with three other dogs from the same home, and all the recent changes have left him feeling a bit uncertain. Berlioz tends to take his time getting comfortable, preferring to observe before jumping in. But once he realizes he's safe, his gentle and affectionate nature starts to shine through in the sweetest ways. Berlioz would do best in a calm, patient home that understands shy dogs and can give him the space he needs to build trust. He's not the bold, life-of-the-party type — he's the loyal companion who will quietly bond with his person and stay close once he feels secure. At just 10 pounds, he's perfectly sized for cozy laps, slow mornings, and peaceful evenings.
