Malorie is a five-year-old black and tan smooth-coated dachshund weighing 10.58 pounds. She came to the rescue pregnant and has since been spayed, received a dental, and is up to date on all vaccinations. Though a little shy at first, she warms up quickly and loves attention and playtime—she is an active girl who enjoys walks and play rather than being a couch potato. Malorie does well on a housetrained schedule, is crate trained, and is working on leash training. She would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, another small adult-friendly dog (male or female), and someone who can be home most of the time; she is best suited for families with children ten and older and cannot live with cats.
