Oh, hello you! Layla here.
I'm still learning what love looks like, but I think I'll know it the moment you walk through that door and we finally meet.
I'm the calm one (it's in writing). A quiet home and a patient hand and I'm yours.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.
I've been holding down the fort in Seattle, hoping someone like you would wander by.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
With a little luck, Labor Day could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.
Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Layla

About Layla
Layla is a sweet, social hound who was rescued as a stray and transferred from San Bernardino, California. She is friendly with people and is learning to play with other dogs; though more reserved than her sibling Leela, she quickly warms up with encouragement. Layla has made good progress with crate training, house training, and basic obedience. She will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.
