I'm basically a furry philosopher who loves puzzles, cuddles, and treats—mostly treats—and I'm genuinely puzzled why everyone hasn't adopted me yet.
My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.
I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.
Born and (almost) raised right here in St. Louis Park.

About Daphne
Meet Daphne! ❤️ Daphne is an energetic, lovable, curious, busy little girl with a silly personality and a BIG love for cuddles! She is truly one of the most affectionate dogs you'll meet and absolutely loves crawling into bed with her people for a good snuggle and a nap. At home, Daphne is playful, curious, and always keeping herself busy. She loves puzzles, toys, treats (yum, her favorite! ), and learning new things. She already knows sit, kennel, and shake, and she would thrive with continued training and positive reinforcement. She is very food-motivated, which makes training even more fun! Daphne loves people and is happy to make friends wherever she goes. She also enjoys playing with other dogs at the dog park and has a great time running around and having fun with her canine friends. She is good on leash and loves being out and about. One thing to know about Daphne: she is a very vocal girl! She gets especially excited and loves to let you know about it. Because of this, she would do best in a home without shared walls—an apartment or townhouse may not be the best fit for her. Daphne is looking for someone who will appreciate her silly, energetic personality, continue working with her on training, and most importantly, give her all the love and cuddles she could ever want. ❤️ If you're looking for a playful, affectionate, people-loving companion who will happily crawl into bed and snuggle up with you, Daphne might just be your girl! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter's expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe.
