Good afternoon! Roxy (W. Sacramento) here.

I'm basically a low-riding comedian with separation anxiety from my brother, but stick around and I'll cuddle you into oblivion while narrating life with my opinions.

My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.

I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.

Born and (almost) raised right here in Petaluma.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Halloween — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.

Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Roxy (W. Sacramento)

About Roxy (W. Sacramento)

Three-year-old Roxy came into GGBR with her brother Duke. They are very much a bonded pair and need to stay together. Roxy is a little more outgoing than her brother and Duke relies on her especially as a source of comfort.Roxy seems to have had a rough start in life, which may be why she is nervous around new places and people at first but, given a little time and patience, Roxy adjusts very well. Once she feels comfortable with you, she loves to cuddle and sleep right next to you. She also loves to play with other dogs once she feels comfortable with them. She does love to use her voice and can be quite vocal at times. She is well house trained and uses a doggy door. She is also crate trained and does well in the car.Roxy does have some food guarding tendencies. They are not severe, however, and she does not display them around her brother, only other dogs.Roxy would love a mom or dad who is patient and gentle, as she can be a little unsure of herself at times but really wants to please.
