Up late too? Hi. Johana here.
I'm a little shepherd with a heart that seems too big for my small frame, and I greet every person like they're my long-lost best friend.
My file says I've got energy to spare — adventure buddy applications now open.
I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.
I'm a Seattle local, just waiting on the right person.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
Who knows — by Halloween I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.
Thanks for stopping by and giving me a moment — it honestly made my whole day. — Johana

About Johana
Animal Information: Johana is an adorable little shepherd mix that was brought in as a "stray" in southern CA, but is obvious that she has had positive experiences with people in her short life. Johana is sweet, and always eager to greet the shelter staff at the front of her small kennel. She is too young to be in play groups, but is always wagging as other dogs walk by. We can't wait to help her find a loving home here in the PNW! Foster Profile: Johana is a little puppy with a big heart, big guts, a big brain, big ears, and—after dinner—a very big belly. She approaches life fearlessly, with a happy tail that always seems to be wagging. In just one week, Johana has somehow become the star of the neighborhood. People constantly stop to admire her, ask to pet her, and tell her how cute she is—and Johana, naturally, is more than happy to accept the attention. She loves people of all ages, including kids, and seems quite pleased with her newfound celebrity status. She's equally enthusiastic about other dogs and believes every pup she meets could be her next best friend. She loves going on walks with her human, although she has another important mission while she's out: collecting sticks. If there's a good stick on the ground, Johana will find it. For such a playful little adventurer, Johana also has a wonderfully chill and independent side. She's happy entertaining herself and does well when her humans are away, with no separation anxiety. She is crate trained, potty trained, and sleeps quietly through the night. Johana is also one smart cookie. She learns incredibly quickly and approaches new experiences with curiosity and confidence. Big heart, big brain, big ears, happy tail, zero fear—and probably a stick in her mouth. That's Johana. We are looking for a home with breed experience or a family that is dedicated to training and learning how to help her be the best she can be. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter (on contract, if applicable), core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian.
