About Lassie
Lassie is a "Shollie" - a Collie Shepherd mix - and is a new arrival that is just 3 years old and weighs about 65lbs. She is said to be super sweet and friendly and has an above average energy level, but NO cats for this girly. Foster home update: Lassie is an energetic, curious girl, that welcomes all visitors into her foster home and is one smart cookie! She plays well with the resident dog, loves every toy and can play all day like the energizer bunny! A fenced yard is recommended to give her room to run off all her energy. Lassie understands basic commands: sit, stay, off and will give paw. She is completely housebroken and practicing calm leash walking is in progress. She will alert you to any passerbys just to keep you updated. She has been practicing and improving on her "wait" command and has already made progress! We recommend training for all our dogs! **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment. Thank you for your interest!
