Good morning! Timmy here.
I spent six weeks getting my manners sorted in Georgia, and honestly, I'm still processing the whole "being found" thing, but I'm pretty great at sitting next to you in silence, occasionally reminding you with my paw that I exist.
My notes call me gentle and a little shy — I warm up fast once I trust you, though.
I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.
I've been holding down the fort in Osteen, hoping someone like you would wander by.

About Timmy
Meet Timmy, a gorgeous 1-year-old possible German Shepherd/lab mix weighing 58 lbs. Timmy was found as a stray and spent six weeks in a training program in Georgia, where he learned socialization, basic obedience, crate training and leash skills. He is an absolute sweetheart with a calm and gentle nature. Timmy can be a little nervous and is not overly curiou Once he gets comfortable with you, he loves simply being in your presence and staying close to his people, whether that means sitting beside you or following you around the house. He can be vocal when he wants to play or go for a walk, often expressing himself with little whines or other sounds rather than barking. When he wants your attention, he has no trouble letting you know—he'll come right up to you and place his paw on you. When he gets excited, he does jump up to greet you, but it's usually a very gentle jump. Timmy is incredibly intelligent, obedient and eager to learn. He is very treat motivated and responds well to positive reinforcement. He knows the commands sit, shake and down, and is currently working on a few new commands. He is house trained, generally stays off the furniture, and rides great in the car. Timmy sleeps through the night and does very well when left alone. He is perfectly content sitting, sleeping or spending time looking out the window. Timmy was heartworm positive, but underwent heartworm treatment and should test negative in a few months' time.
