I walked into this place thinking my luck was done, but now I'm the official greeter dog and honestly I can't believe people keep coming to meet ME—walks are perfect, other dogs are my best friends, and I'm absolutely losing my mind waiting for someone to take me home to an actual couch!
My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.

In Need of a Happy EndingZuki comes to us after she and another dog were left behind, with the other dog already in her forever home... now it is Zuki's turn! Since she's been with us, Zuki has been easy to leash and walks very well on her leash! This amazing gilr is currently our 'greeter dog' meaning that she does SUCH a wonderful job with OTHER dogs, that she is their 'friend' that they meet while here! She is such the best girl and truly IS ready for her forever home... one where she is NO longer in a kennel, which she HATES! This girl was made for couches and laps, not concrete floors and Kuranda beds!!! Please come and ask to meet Zuki in person and a staff person will gladly get her out of her kennel to meet you- as she is not housed in the regular adoption kennel, open to our guests. This is to help ease her stress of being here, by being in a more quiet area. We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption to ensure a great fit. We do not have information on how she does with cats and have no way to test for this. Please come and meet Zuki in person to learn all about her and see if she is meant to be part of your family at 430 Bristol Drive in Statesville. Please bring a collar and leash OR purchase a combo from us for only $15 to safely take your new family member home safely.
