Oh, hello you! Dory #2 here.
I'm five months of pure Lab enthusiasm wrapped in a wiggly package, though I promise my cuddles eventually outpace my zooms—give me time and a good toy.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.
I'm a Aurora local, just waiting on the right person.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
Who knows — by Halloween I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.
Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Dory #2

Dory #2 | 5 mos Lab mix | Your wiggly little firecracker Dory is a sweet, playful 5-month-old Lab mix who weighs about 14 pounds and is basically a little bundle of puppy enthusiasm. She is incredibly wiggly and loves to play, zooming around the backyard like a bull out of a bullpen. When she finally slows down, she is happy to cuddle and will rest her head on you. Dory loves toys of every kind, especially stuffed animals, chew toys, ropes, and balls. She enjoys fetch and walks, although she can be easily distracted by all the exciting things happening around her. She is working on her puppy manners and knows the beginnings of come, sit, wait, and down. She is also making great progress with crate training and sleeps through the night. She may whine briefly when she realizes you have left the room, but she settles down nicely. Dory is almost completely house trained and does best with frequent potty breaks. She has had only a couple of accidents so far. She has had mixed reactions to other dogs, including some barking when meeting new dogs or seeing them behind a fence, but she adjusts fairly quickly and often decides she'd rather play. She also likes cats and wants to play with them, although her enthusiasm may be a little much for her feline friends. Dory would love a home with a yard where she can run, explore, and get frequent potty breaks. She will need a family willing to continue working on puppy manners, boundaries, leash skills, and calm behavior. Like any puppy, she may have an occasional accident while adjusting to a new home and routine. Dory is still learning, but she is a sweet, affectionate, fun-loving little girl with a whole lot of personality—and an impressive amount of wiggle. If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth.
