Good morning! Eva here.

I'm a German Shepherd who somehow ended up homeless despite being obviously someone's dog, but I'm playing it cool about it—walks, hiking, chill vibes, and an unhealthy attachment to whoever holds my leash.

My file says I've got energy to spare — adventure buddy applications now open.

I've been holding down the fort in Seattle, hoping someone like you would wander by.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

With a little luck, Halloween could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.

Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Eva

About Eva

Animal Information: Eva is a petite, 2-year-old female German shepherd with old soul energy. Eva tested great with other dogs, and though she wasn't outwardly playful, she was very comfortable and calm with everyone she met. She immediately wants to be close to whoever is holding the leash, and was very obviously someones dog. Unfortunately she came into the shelter as a stray, and was not claimed. Naturally we had to say yes, and this sweet girl is heading for new horizons here in the PNW! Foster Profile: Eva is a sweet girl looking for a home to call her own. She is very loving but can be a bit shy in beginning. She is very eager to please and loves her people. She is a medium energy dog that loves to go for walks and would be a great hiking buddy but can also chill out. Since coming to Seattle she has had a bit of a transition to big city noises and would be more comfortable outside the bustle of the city. She is looking for a home with breed experience, and someone committed to continue her training to build her confidence. She has not been around cats or kids but would likely do ok in a home with older children. She can be cat tested upon request. She is coming out of her shell and is on the right track to becoming a happy, confident girl. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Caddo Parrish Shelter in LA in partnership with Taillights Rescue Project. She is arriving to foster care on 8/24/26 and will available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.
