JUST A DOLL BABY: Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 29 lbs. Hi there! My name is Empress, and I think my name suits me quite well! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a wonderful home and family to call my own. I've clearly raised puppies in the past, but I'm quite happy to say those days are behind me and it's finally my turn to be pampered! I also bravely battled and won a case of ringworm and have been given the all-clear—hooray! Now I'm soaking up all the love and attention in a wonderful foster home while I wait for my furever family to find me. I hope you'll come meet me soon and see if this sweet Empress is the perfect new addition to your family! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I got to spend a few nights in a nice temporary foster home and was good with the other dogs there. I also met dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet! / I chased and barked at the kitty cats in one temp. foster home and my current foster says I'm interested in her calm, non-reactive 6-year old male kitty and may be okay with proper introductions, but all cats are different, so let's say no kitties, to be safe. / I liked the teens in my temp. foster home, so if you have kids, let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a super sweet, snuggly, girl with a silly, sometimes clumsy side that is sure to keep you smiling! I'm happy, friendly, smart, and full of energy, but I also love slowing down for attention, cuddling, and sweet kisses. When my foster calls me, I hold a nice attentive sit and focused stare to see "what's next?" I was very brave and a good girl formy medicated baths and ear cleanings, and mostly just wanted to be close to my bather and soak up all the attention. I have the cutest facial expressions, complete with lots of adorable little snorting noises that only add to my charm. My foster says I'm respectful of the "no dogs in the kitchen" rule, a quiet girl (except for the adorable snorting) and only play with what's mine. I make a bit of a mess when I drink my water—could be my adorable smushy face, so maybe a water tray/mat would help. I'm truly a cutie through and through, with a whole lot of sweetness and personality packed into one lovable girl! / Energy level: 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I have already mastered the 'sit', 'come' and 'place' commands and I look forward to learning more. I am working on my leash walking with my foster and have already improved, with just a bit of zigzagging. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I did well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. In my foster home, I do just a bit of whining then I settle in nicely. / My potty manners are good in my foster home. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love plush toys, longer toys that can be used for tug games, playing, and having fun, and my big wagging tail is usually a good clue that I'm having a great time! I especially enjoy belly rubs and had a blast tossing a toy back and forth across the room during my ringworm treatment period and I still like to do this to self-entertain in my foster home. I like to play fetch too, but don't always give it back right away lol. I'm a sweet, playful girl who is always ready for a little fun! / I'm not a big fan of wet grass, and I'm fine with most traffic noise, but try to give chase when a Fedex truck passes by so please hold onto my leash tightly. And like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I have a bit of itchiness and am trying some Benadryl and fish oil to help with that. I'm a wonderful girl looking for a wonderful family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.
