About Haywood
Haywood is a sweet, gentle, and affectionate pit bull terrier with a loyal devotion and a big heart. This medium-energy boy enjoys leash walks and playing in the fields, then happily lounging with his people throughout the day. He is fully crate trained and house trained on a consistent routine, and he is a joy on walks. Haywood gets along beautifully with other dogs and would do well with or without a canine companion. He ignores cats and would be a good fit with a dog-savvy feline. He has done well with dog-savvy children and would do best with kids who can give him space and time to warm up on his own terms. This easygoing, eager-to-please companion would be a wonderful fit for most homes looking for a devoted family dog.
