Hey, friend! Pepe here.
I weigh nine pounds but somehow contain an entire personality; I'm convinced my adorability is a legitimate career, and yes, your lap is now my office.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I'm a East Derry local, just waiting on the right person.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
Who knows — by Halloween I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.
Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Pepe

About Pepe
PEPE: 9 Pounds of Pure Perfection Please prepare yourself for Pepe, a 9-pound Pom-Chi who would like you to know that being this adorable is, in fact, a full-time job. Pepe is small. Very small. But his personality? Absolutely enormous. This little guy is a professional people-lover, certified cuddle bug, enthusiastic dog wrestler, expert lap occupier, and part-time comedian. Basically, he is the complete package—just conveniently packaged in 9 pounds. Pepe LOVES people. Like, really loves people. If you have a lap, he would like to discuss a long-term rental agreement. If you have a dog bed, he will happily demonstrate its proper use. And if you're sitting on the couch? Well, congratulations. You now have a Pepe. He's also a fun-loving little dude who enjoys playing with other dogs. His current foster sibling weighs about 35 pounds, and Pepe thinks that's the perfect size for rolling around, wrestling, and generally having a fabulous time. He can be a little unsure about really big, super-energetic dogs, though. Frankly, we can't blame him—when you're 9 pounds, a 90-pound dog doing zoomies at your face can feel a little like being caught in a hurricane. Pepe prefers his playmates to be medium-sized or smaller and a little more respectful of his tiny-but-mighty status. When playtime is over, Pepe is an excellent professional relaxer. He loves a cozy dog bed, a nice lap, and hanging out with his people. He's perfectly capable of staying home alone and does just fine when his humans have places to go, but given the choice, he'd obviously prefer that everyone simply cancel their plans and stay home with him. This is a completely reasonable request in Pepe's opinion. Pepe is also housebroken and crate trained, and here's the really impressive part: he actually likes his crate! When this little guy wants some peace and quiet, he'll happily head into his crate to chill. It's his personal little retreat—and proof that beneath all that cuteness is a very good boy. And then there's the part where everyone who meets Pepe falls in love with him. We're not saying it's scientifically impossible to resist him, but we haven't seen anyone manage it yet. Pepe is affectionate, playful, easygoing, adorably ridiculous, and approximately 97% snuggle-powered. He's looking for a forever home where he can love his people, make some appropriately sized dog friends, play a little, cuddle a LOT, and continue his lifelong mission of convincing everyone that 9 pounds is the perfect amount of dog. Spoiler alert: He's right. ❤️
