About Marlee (Forever Foster)
Marlee is a young American Pit Bull Terrier who weighs about 33 pounds and came to the rescue as an extremely malnourished pregnant dog from a shelter in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was spayed after her pregnancy did not progress, and she is now healthy and ready for her forever home. Marlee is sweet, obedient, and loves to snuggle, receive belly rubs, and go for walks and car rides. She is a resource guarder with food, treats, toys, and her crate, but has successfully shared a dog bed with other dogs; she would do best as an only dog or with a very calm, respectful male companion, and her adopters will receive guidance on managing her resource-guarding behavior.
