Psst… hi! Bear here.
I've got a feeling you and I could be pretty great together.
I'm on the bigger side — but honestly, that's just more of me to hug.
I do come with a few special needs, but please don't let that worry you — I just need a patient friend, and I pay it back tenfold.
I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Bear 🐾
The rescue’s notes on Bear
Age: 8 years Weight: 55 lbs Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: No Good with kids: Older, calm kids ok Activity level: Moderate Shedding: Moderate Training: Potty, Leash, Crate Bear is a super special pup. He is very shy and will likely always have a timid personality due to his early life and lack of proper socialization. He needs an owner with lots of patience that is just looking to help a dog with fear issues with new people. He does get attached to his special people as he is with his foster mom, but it can take some time to get there. He's a home body, loves to just play in his own securely fenced yard and he LOVES all other dogs. He would be a great companion for another dog and someone that lives a calm life. He would be too fearful of young children, but could befriend a teenager with a sweet nature. If Bear might find a special place in your compassionate heart, he'd love to join a family and put down some real roots. Email placement@duckteam6.org if you would consider giving Bear a chance.
