Hey, friend! Chirp here.

I've mastered the art of the perfect nap, but I wake up instantly when my person needs me—that's the shepherd way, even at eight.

Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.

I won't fib — there's a little grey on my muzzle. "Older" just means I'm past the wild puppy chaos and all in on cozy company.

I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.

Born and (almost) raised right here in Corona.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Labor Day — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.

Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Chirp

About Chirp

Meet Chirp! This handsome eight-year-old German Shepherd mix weighs in at 93 lbs and brings the heart of a puppy wrapped in the wisdom of a grown-up dog. Chirp is a total lovebug—he adores his humans and is always ready to dole out affection to his favorite people. Smart, sensitive, and eager to please, Chirp has a wonderful balance of cuddle buddy and outdoor adventurer. He's highly food-motivated and thrives when given a job or task, especially if treats are involved! Chirp would do best in a home where he gets lots of attention, regular long walks, and mental stimulation to keep his bright mind happy. While he's gentle at heart, his size makes him better suited for families with older children, as he might accidentally knock over the littles in his excitement. Chirp gets along well with other dogs and is respectful around cats. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun-loving companion, Chirp is ready to be your best buddy! If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete the adoption application: http://www.icaredogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt/ Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter • shots up to date • micro-chip • fecal and vet check Breed and age are not guaranteed.
