I won't fib — I've got a little grey on my muzzle. But being older just means I'm past the wild puppy stuff and all about cozy company and slow, happy mornings.

The rescue’s notes on Duke
Duke is about 9 years old and 50 lbs., found as a stray in rural NC. He is a beautiful leash walker, wonderful in the car, is housetrained and would be a great hiking companion for someone! Duke is very affectionate and happy. He enjoys his family and, although he loves to be outdoors, he also enjoys a soft bed! Duke has very manageable resource guarding in a home environment- so will need an experienced adopter and a child-free home. Which is a shame because he loves children and is very gentle with them. He can go anywhere with you as he is very friendly and fun and is good with cats too! Duke would do best with another dog or dogs in a home with a fenced-in yard. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
