Morning, friend! Chyna here.
I've been through a lot, gained some questionable weight, and I'm still here—turns out I'm harder to get rid of than a bad habit, which is honestly kind of impressive.
My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.
I'm a seasoned soul, which is a fancy way of saying I've perfected the art of the afternoon nap and the grateful sigh.
Born and (almost) raised right here in Las Vegas.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Thanksgiving — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.
Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — Chyna

About Chyna
Chyna is ready for her forever home! Seven years ago, Chyna came into our rescue as a sweet little girl estimated to be about 4 years old. Her previous owner believed she was a Maltipoo, though we're not entirely sure of her exact mix. At the time, her beautiful long coat was badly matted, but even then her gentle spirit shone through. Recently we received news: Chyna was waiting for us at the shelter after APS stepped in during a medical emergency with her owner. After the required 10-day hold, we were able to bring her back into our care. The previous owner is no longer in the picture, and Chyna is once again safe with us. Today Chyna carries a bit more weight than she should—she's doubled in size from 16 pounds to 32 pounds—and she pants more easily because of it. We're already helping her with a healthy diet and gentle exercise so she can feel light and energetic again. Extra pounds may slow her body, but they haven't slowed her heart one bit. Chyna remains the same affectionate, well-balanced girl we've always known. She's kind, loving, and gets along beautifully with other dogs. There's still plenty of pep in her step, and with the right care she will bloom into her best self once more. She's looking for a patient, loving family who will help her reach a healthier weight and give her the secure, happy home she deserves for the rest of her life. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a sweet girl who's already proven how resilient she is, Chyna is waiting to meet you. Adoption fee is $75 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc.. We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back. Disclaimer: The SNBRF has the right to deny applications based on our adoption policies established for the consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of the dog. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years. Therefore, beagles or any other breed who are under 3 years of age will NOT be adopted to anyone over the age of 62. For individuals who are 70 years of age and older, the dogs must be 8 years or older
