Hi there! Athena here.
I dream of a quiet home where a patient soul sees past my shyness and helps me believe in love again.
I'm the calm one (it's in writing). A quiet home and a patient hand and I'm yours.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.
I'm a Newport Beach local, just waiting on the right person.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
Who knows — by Thanksgiving I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.
Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Athena

About Athena
Athena is a 4-year-old Australian Kelpie mix weighing about 30 pounds. Originally picked up as a stray in Mexico, she came to the shelter very fearful but has made significant progress. Athena is shy and needs a patient family to help her continue building confidence; she does best in a home without children and with only female residents. She would benefit from living with an outgoing, friendly dog as a companion, loves playing with toys, and walks well on a leash.
