Oh — hi! Shirley here.

I'm sharp as a tack — give me a job and I'll make you look like a genius.

My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.

I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.

Born and (almost) raised right here in Gun Barrel City.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Thanksgiving — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.

Thanks for stopping by and giving me a moment — it honestly made my whole day. — Shirley

About Shirley

Shirley is a Hound and Australian Shepherd mix born in 2017 with striking heterochromia—one blue eye and one brown eye. Her healed broken jaw gives her an endearing, quizzical expression, especially when her tongue hangs out. She is gentle and affectionate, takes treats carefully, and loves children and people of all kinds, though she can be selective with other dogs and would benefit from a meet-and-greet before adoption. Shirley would thrive as a family companion, enjoying an active home where she can run and play with children.

Shirley is listed by Straydog Inc in Gun Barrel City, TX. The rescue handles the adoption — Pawsada helps the right family discover Shirley.
