Rise and shine — hi! Luke in PA - Looking for the Good Life here.

I've waited my whole life for someone patient enough to understand me—someone who'll let me settle into a quiet yard and simply love you from a distance, steady and true.

I'm the calm one (it's in writing). A quiet home and a patient hand and I'm yours.

I won't fib — there's a little grey on my muzzle. "Older" just means I'm past the wild puppy chaos and all in on cozy company.

I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.

I've been holding down the fort in Beacon, hoping someone like you would wander by.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

With a little luck, Halloween could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.

Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Luke in PA - Looking for the Good Life

About Luke in PA - Looking for the Good Life

Luke is a 9-year-old Great Pyrenees weighing approximately 85 pounds who came to rescue from a hoarding situation and is now ready for his forever home. He is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm-negative, and currently on flea, tick, and heartworm preventative. Luke is housebroken and has a mild, sweet temperament, though he can be nervous in new situations until he warms up; he is happiest relaxing in a securely fenced yard (minimum 6-foot visible fencing required) and calmly keeping watch over his family. He does best in a home with experienced Great Pyrenees owners who understand the breed's need for space, and he cannot live with cats or children; he can be selective with other dogs.
