Oh, hello you! Beta here.

I've weathered storms most dogs never would, and I'm still standing—still loving—because that's who I am, and I know I'm worth it.

Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.

I won't fib — there's a little grey on my muzzle. "Older" just means I'm past the wild puppy chaos and all in on cozy company.

I do come with a few special needs, but please don't let that scare you off — I just need a patient friend, and I pay it back tenfold.

I'm a Escondido local, just waiting on the right person.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

Who knows — by Labor Day I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.

Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Beta

Best in a cat-free home

Special needs: Beta underwent 2 surgeries for a blockage and fluid builds up in her abdomen. Thankfully she's healed well, but do to the blockage and being intubated multiple times she developed esophageal stricture. She now needs to be in an upright position in a Bailey Chair when eating and given time to allow the food to travel slowly into her stomach. Other than that she's doing well.

About Beta

Beta is Ready for Her Forever Home ❤ My heart breaks for Beta. After everything this sweet senior girl has been through, she still greets every day with love, kindness, and a gentle spirit. While in boarding, Beta ingested foreign objects that caused a life-threatening intestinal blockage. She underwent two successful surgeries and fought her way through a long recovery. As if that wasn't enough, she was later diagnosed with an esophageal stricture and now requires soft food while sitting upright in a Bailey Chair. Through every setback, every hospital stay, and every challenge, Beta has never lost her loving nature. She is truly no trouble at all. She is calm, affectionate, well-mannered, and simply wants to be near her people. She asks for so little—just a soft place to rest, a kind hand to pet her, and someone to love her. Beta enjoys leisurely walks, car rides, and spending time with her family. She gets along well with gentle, playful dogs and has so much love left to give. Despite all she has endured, she continues to trust and love unconditionally. This precious girl deserves more than a boarding kennel. She deserves a home. She deserves a family. She deserves to spend her golden years surrounded by love, comfort, and the security of knowing she will never be abandoned again. Beta is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you live in California and would like to open your heart and home to this extraordinary girl, please complete an adoption application at: https://www.tlck9rescue.org/info/adoption Please share Beta's story. Somewhere out there is the person who will see just how special she is and give her the forever home she has waited so patiently for. ❤ Thank you, TLC K9 Rescue
