Rufus is a strikingly handsome chocolate-colored dog with a sleek, low-shedding coat and captivating honey eyes. He was born on 9/29/18 and about 60 pounds. He is a gentle soul and tender-hearted love bug at his core. He's an active dog who would do best as a solo dog in the household. No cats please. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, and lay down, and rides well in the car. While his leash manners are usually excellent, he can get overly excited and pull if he spots a bunny or squirrel. He's an adventurous pup who would make an amazing hiking, running, or biking companion for an active family or individual. Rufus has undergone extensive training, and his new family can take advantage of a free session to learn the best techniques for managing his energy.
