About Brian
Brian is a 5-year-old Boxer mix with Border Collie, German Shepherd, and other breeds in his background. He is a highly energetic dog who loves to explore, play, and go on adventures—whether that's car rides, swimming, walks, or chasing wildlife—and he gets along well with other dogs of all sizes. Brian knows several commands including sit, kennel, down, and off, and he is eager to learn with a patient, strong leader. He is kennel trained, uses a doggy door, and can be left alone without concern for your belongings. Brian does best in a home with older children and needs a canine companion to help keep him engaged, as well as plenty of daily exercise. He has recovered well from a previous TPLO injury and should continue to take things easy at times. Brian has recently shown resource-guarding behavior toward an infant in his current foster home, so he would thrive best in a home without very young children. He is a loyal, fun-loving companion ready to bring excitement and devotion to the right family.
