Hi there! Brian here.
I've got the energy, the smarts, and the charm to keep up with you—just need someone ready for adventures, car rides, and a dog who actually listens when it counts.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I've been holding down the fort in Stanwood, hoping someone like you would wander by.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
With a little luck, Labor Day could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.
Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Brian

About Brian
Meet Brian, an amazing 5-year-old Boxer mix fostered in Renton, WA, ready to bring joy and adventure into your life! Brian is a unique blend—half Boxer, with the rest made up of Border Collie, German Shepherd, and a touch of other breeds. He's bursting with energy, loves to play, and gets along with all dogs, big or small. Brian adjusts his play style for every pup, showing both playful submission and gentle enthusiasm. Brian is happiest when he's exploring, whether that's chasing critters, riding in the car, or splashing in the hose or pool. He adores toys (especially stuffed ones, which he won't destroy), tether ball, and a tasty bone. Walks are a highlight for him, and he's great on a prong collar, responding well to clear communication from his handler. Brian is kennel trained and uses the doggy door to run in and out as he pleases. He can be left alone without any worry about your belongings—unless you leave food unattended on the counter! This smart pup knows several commands, including sit, kennel, down, and off, and he's eager to learn more with a patient and strong leader. While Brian isn't super cuddly, he loves to be close and will happily sit on your lap when he's craving affection. He will do great with older children, and he needs plenty of exercise and a canine companion to help keep him busy. The only reason Brian is looking for a loving home is because he has started resource-guarding the infant in his current foster family, though he doesn't guard food, toys, or treats. This behavior means Brian would be happiest in a home without very young children. Brian is a loyal, fun-loving dog who will bring excitement, companionship, and a willingness to learn into your life. And while Brian loves to run, jump, and play, he does need to take it a little easy at times due to a TPLO injury. It doesn't seem to bother him much at all, which is great, but better safe than sorry. So, if you're seeking an active, devoted pup who's ready to be your best friend, Brian is the perfect match! Because of a generous donor, Brian's adoption fee is already paid for so send your application in today – www.mustluvboxersrescue.com/adopt.
