Hey, friend! Herman here.
I'm a polished 30-pound charmer who bonds deeply once you earn my trust—walks, fetch, car rides, and your undivided attention are all I need.
They wrote that I love to play. Understatement. I'd hike, fetch, and nap with you, in that order.
I've been holding down the fort in San Diego, hoping someone like you would wander by.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
With a little luck, Thanksgiving could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.
Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Herman

About Herman
Meet Herman, a 6-year-old, 30-lb poodle mix who is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. He is potty trained and would thrive in a home with easy outdoor access or a doggy door. Herman enjoys walks, playing with toys, fetch, and car rides, and he forms strong bonds with his people once he feels safe. Due to his past experiences, Herman needs a patient, understanding adopter in a quiet, adult-only home where he is the only dog; he can be reactive around multiple dogs or people but responds well to guidance and training from an experienced handler.
