The rescue’s notes on Koa
SPECIAL FOSTER or home NEEDED for a very special pup. Koa is a cattle dog mix, about 2 years old. In his foster home, he is mostly confident, although he can still get spooked by sudden movements and loud noises. He is very high energy and loves to play constantly with other dogs. He can be too much for small dogs, but he does well with confident, developed younger dogs. Unfortunately, outside of the home, he has anxiety and fear. We are seeking a home or foster who is experienced in helping a very shy and anxious dog come out of his shell and has the patience and time to work with him on building his confidence. Koa has become very affectionate with his foster mom, and he has been good with all the dogs that have come through his foster home. He is crate trained and good in the house
