Hi there! Copper here.

I've mastered the art of the perfect nap, but I'll gladly chase a tennis ball first—then return to my couch meditation.

They wrote that I love to play. Understatement. I'd hike, fetch, and nap with you, in that order.

I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.

I'm a Seattle local, just waiting on the right person.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

Who knows — by Labor Day I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.

Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Copper

About Copper

Copper is an estimated 4-year-old, 80-pound neutered male Doberman Pinscher with natural ears and a docked tail. Originally found as a stray in Georgia, he arrived in Seattle via Project Freedom Ride and has been in foster care. Copper is friendly with people and dogs, and he enjoys both active play—especially chasing tennis balls—and relaxing on the couch once he's had exercise. He can be cautious when first meeting new people but warms up quickly with patience and kindness, and he walks well on leash without pulling. Copper does best in a single-family home with a securely fenced yard and would thrive with an owner who has large breed experience.
