Hi there! Aspen here.

I'm all sleek lines and speed—shy at first, sure, but stick around and you'll find I'm worth the wait: playful, curious, and absolutely obsessed with tennis balls and chest rubs.

They wrote that I love to play. Understatement. I'd hike, fetch, and nap with you, in that order.

I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.

I've been holding down the fort in Woodinville, hoping someone like you would wander by.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

With a little luck, Labor Day could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.

Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Aspen

About Aspen

AspenTag No: 6856Registered Name: NoneBreed: Greyhound MixDate of Birth: June 18, 2021Color: BrindleCat Trainable: NoDog Friendly: See CommentsKid Friendly: Ok with older Kids - 10+Weight: 70 poundsLocation: Woodinville, WA (Kennel)Adoption Fee: $ZeroComments: Aspen is a sweetheart. She can be timid with people she does not know, but once she knows you she is friendly, curious and playful. She loves treats, ice cubes, tennis balls, chest rubs, and playing tug. Aspen was in a home but returned because she did not get along with the other dogs in her home, despite everyone's best efforts. Aspen loves to run and play with other dogs, and she plays well, but she can play roughly, so needs play buddies that are ok with slightly rougher play. Aspen needs to be an only dog in a home as she is food aggressive with other dogs. She will need a home with a fenced yard and no cats or other dogs. She lived with an 11 year old boy and loves to meet new kids, and although she can be a big excited/jumpy at first greetings, she does calm quickly. Aspen does well on car rides. She knows several commands and she is working on her leash manners. Aspen is a delightful "fuzzy" that will just make you smile!
