This lovable guy is the ultimate low-maintenance companion who knows how to entertain himself and appreciates the simple pleasures in life. JJ walks beautifully on leash, showing off his polite manners with a reliable "sit" and a mostly reliable "come" when called. JJ is generally laid-back and loves his chill time, but will occasionally get a burst of energy before settling back into relaxation mode—he's all Pyr in personality! This loyal boy takes his time warming up to new people, but once you've earned his trust, he becomes an incredibly devoted and affectionate companion. JJ has a playful side too, getting wonderfully silly with his toys, and tossing them around for his own amusement. He's happiest in a quiet home with an experienced Pyr owner who understands his need for a peaceful environment, and he'd prefer to be the only dog or possibly live with a laid-back female after proper introductions. JJ thrives with a secure 5-foot fence and loves being outdoors in any weather, though he also enjoys snuggling up on his cozy bed. This sweet boy loves going on walks, car rides to sniff the fresh air, and being brushed and bathed. He's generally a quiet gentleman who only barks at sirens, motorcycles, or loud cars, and he's not a digger or escape artist. JJ does best in an adults-only home, and prefers to dine alone, as he can be protective of his food.
