Hi, new friend! Cassio here.
I survived a culvert pipe at eight weeks old, and three years later I'm still waiting for someone to recognize that loyalty and a good sense of humor are better than puppy cuteness.
They wrote that I love to play. Understatement. I'd hike, fetch, and nap with you, in that order.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.
I'm a Morganville local, just waiting on the right person.

About Cassio
Cassio is 1 of 9 puppies found in a culvert pipe and rescued in 2023. One puppy didn't make it, the remaining 8 came to our rescue. One was as adorable as the next. Cassio is estimated date of birth is April, 2023. He's microchipped and up to date on age appropriate core vaccines and neutered. June of 2026 will mark 3 years Cassio has been with us in foster care and we really can't understand why this boy hasn't been adopted. Cassio would do best as an only dog! Cassio gets along with all dogs in public and for playdates, LOVES to play with other dogs, but seems to prefer his home and his people to himself (He tried going to a home with a very sweet dog but was very dominant and territorial). This gorgeous boy with the soulful eyes currently weighs about 75lbs. Cassio is an energetic guy and requires a completely FENCED IN yard. Cassio can be a vocal guy and if he wants something, will let you know, therefore no shared walls (apartments, townhomes, etc). He is house trained, crate trained and sleeps through the night. Cassio is extremely loving and always excited to see new people and dogs on walks. He is being fostered with numerous small dogs who he has been with since 2.5 months old and gets along with and respects all of them, but because of his guarding of his personal space and people stays in his own area of the home. Cassio seems to prefer play with smaller dogs and is sometimes cautious with dogs bigger than him. Cassio has met a cat before and was respectful towards the kitty and eventually lost interest.
