I came through some hard times, but out here in foster life I've remembered who I am—a steady girl who leans into the good stuff, keeps close to my people, and knows that peace is just a nap away.
They wrote that I love to play. Understatement. I'd hike, fetch, and nap with you, in that order.
I won't fib — there's a little grey on my muzzle. "Older" just means I'm past the wild puppy chaos and all in on cozy company.
I'm a Bradenton local, just waiting on the right person.

About TIKI
It's our beautiful bob-tailed TIKI fka Karmen. Found with her deceased owner, this gorgeous heeler was not doing well in the shelter environment, where she had been for a month. The shelter folk did work with her and realized that outside of the shelter TIKI was really a normal type girl.. 7 yrs old she is we have her innoculation papers from when she was purchased. Currently Tiki is with a foster. She is with her sister and doing well She goes out into the yard off lead. She has all her basic commands, and a great recall. She will lean on you for loving and LOVES treats. She is housebroken, leash trained and a joy to walk. She stays close to you.. She has a great appetite. She can be with other dogs and has no issues. Heeler experience and even more so, dog savviness is imperative for this girl.. We did get some info from one of the mans neighbors.. THe girls were outdoor dogs. they were in and out of the house. They were not mistreated at all. that was just their way of life. They were well taken care of. UPDATE FROM HER CURRENT FOSTER! The girls have been in foster for a month in Florida. THey are doing awesome!!!! HERe is the update! Tiki and Tayler are doing great! Tiki goes belly up for rubs every time you touch her. She is such a gentle, quiet soul. They both get along with everyone and just want to be loved on. Both would be a great companion for someone that wants the loyalty of a Cattle Dog without the high energy. They shadow you wherever you go. Taylor has a little more zest and her herding instincts kick in when my younger dogs run and play. They've been on a couple of car rides and are great travelers. They are both doing good around my poultry too. They are just really good, quiet dogs. Both girls are in Paisley, FL Lake County near Mt Dora area. WE are in need of a forever home for this beautiful girl. She has been thruough a lot and its her turn for that permanent home!!!
