The rescue’s notes on Sasha & Scarlett

It's just not right that these absolutely wonderful ladies have been at the rescue for many, many years, most of their lives. Sasha and Scarlett are certainly a unique pair, with their awesome, one of a kind looks, matched by their big, fun, personalities. They are very friendly, sweet, happy girls, with lots of energy, who love to be with people. They enjoy cuddly lap time, lots of affection, leash walks, romping on the yard, belly rubs for Scarlett, and a little toy playing for Sasha. They are easy to walk together on leashes, and they get along with other dogs. Sasha (brown and grey, about 11 years old) is the mother of Scarlett (black and white, about 10 years old), both Shih Tzu/Terrier mixes. They are currently somewhat overweight, but should be at proper weight about 14 pounds for Sasha, and 17 pounds for Scarlett. They have been bypassed year after year for our more classic Shih Tzus. It's hard enough to adopt pairs, especially mixes, but Sasha and Scarlett have a special bond, and we will keep them together for their senior years ahead.
