Toby is a 2–3 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix weighing 20 pounds with an adventurous and intelligent nature, though he is timid around people—especially men. He warms up quickly to patient, gentle women and responds with unconditional affection once he bonds. Toby is housetrained, crate-trained, walks nicely on leash, gets along well with other dogs, and is up-to-date on all vetting including spay/neuter and heartworm screening. He does best in a calm, adult home with an escape-proof setup and someone willing to take daily walks; he is not suitable for high-traffic homes or households with children.
