Meet Kiya, a vibrant 5-year-old pup weighing 61 lbs. Her name means "joy" in Japanese, and it's a perfect fit—Kiya is a true bundle of happiness. Every day, she'll greet you with a wagging tail and a beaming smile. Kiya adores people and gets along well with other dogs who share her similar exuberant play style. She's been around dogs of all sizes but prefers those who can match her energy for some rough-and-tumble play should she have a doggie sibling in her furever home. She loves car rides, long walks, doggie playdates, splashing in kiddie pools, romping in the snow, and playing with toys. Don't just take our word for it - check out her video to see her in action! An adventurous family would be her dream, though she's also happy with a moderately active household. When not on the go, Kiya is a pro at snuggling up on the couch for a cozy cuddle session with her people and can relax calmly for most of the day if needed. She prides herself as being a lap dog, blissfully unaware of her actual size. Kiya is house-trained, crate-trained, and well-behaved in the house on her own. She's manageable on the leash, though she tends to get excited when she sees other dogs. She wants to run towards them right away to play!
