Hi there! Winky #0417 here.
I've got one eye, two chances left, and enough charm to win you over—trust me, I know my worth.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I've been holding down the fort in Studio City, hoping someone like you would wander by.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
With a little luck, Labor Day could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.
Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Winky #0417

About Winky #0417
Meet Winky! - Winky's story is one of resilience, second chances, and a heart that refuses to give up.She came to us from the South LA shelter with a past we may never fully understand. According to her records, she was adopted twice… and returned twice. Heartbreaking doesn't even begin to cover it. And as for her missing eye — no one knows what happened. What we do know is that it has never dimmed her spirit.Do we know her breed? Not exactly. She looks like a poodle–pittie mix, but we've also been asked — quite hilariously — if she's part hyena or pig because of her wonderfully unique look. Winky doesn't fit into a neat little box, and honestly, that makes her even more special. From the moment she was picked up, her silly, joyful nature shined through. She was trying to play with her transporter while they were driving — because why waste a car ride when you could be making a new friend?Winky is shy with new people and especially wary of men at first. She doesn't give her trust away easily, and she won't let just anyone pet her without going on a few proper "dates" first. Walks and snacks definitely sweeten the deal. She likes to take her time deciding if you're worthy — and that's okay. She's learned that trust is precious. But once you're in? You are in.Her bully side comes out in the best way — loyal, protective, and full of love. She'll body slam you with affection, completely unaware of her own enthusiasm. She loves a good game of tug-of-war with a blanket, and the way she "snoots" (that irresistible little nose nudge) will melt you on the spot. Her poodle smarts shine through too — she knows "sit," especially when treats are involved.Winky has been at Wagmor for almost two years now, and the growth we've seen in her is nothing short of beautiful. She has blossomed into a loving, sweet, devoted dog. The second she hears her name called for a walk, she bolts out of her kennel, practically vibrating with excitement as she waits for her leash.Underneath her cautious beginnings is a deeply devoted soul who just needs patience and understanding. Winky deserves someone who will honor her pace, cherish her quirks, and love her whole, extraordinary being — one eye, goofy grin, body slams, and all.The right person won't just adopt Winky. They'll be chosen by her."Winky Face !"
