Riley is looking for his person — preferably someone with strong "Ron Swanson seasons 1–3" energy. Basically: an experienced, grounded person who understands that Riley doesn't need a loud, busy household — he needs someone dependable who lets him feel safe at his own pace.This handsome boy loves his walks, melts for hugs, enjoys being brushed, and is happiest just hanging with his human. He's great off leash and forms deep bonds with the people he trusts.Riley came from a heartbreaking situation after being left tied outside, neglected, and severely underweight as a puppy. Because of that, and because he is deaf and sight impaired, he can get fearful and needs an experienced, patient adopter who understands that healing takes time.He needs a calm, adult-only home with no dogs, cats, or kids — just a steady person who respects his space, earns his trust, and lets him feel safe for good.Underneath it all, Riley is a loyal, loving dog who deserves his real chance at peace All pets are current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
